Addition, Remodel, Deck
A modest addition to the footprint of this Glenview Craftsman and some judicious reorganization of the existing space allowed us to transform an unremarkable bedroom into a generous, primary suite with an attached bath and French doors opening onto the new deck. The home’s lot is small, but the backyard is beautiful, and the family wanted to enjoy it without having to go through the laundry room. So, we extended the deck to the kitchen to allow indoor/outdoor dining, grilling and relaxing. Moving the laundry created a new TV corner in the kitchen — a great place to hang out and watch The Big Game during meal prep. Score!
