Historic outbuildings make wonderful material for creative additions. At this Rockridge home, we transformed a dilapidated carriage house into a music room and guest room for visiting family and friends. Modern rustic, the design pairs sliding barn doors outside and in, cleverly concealing the Murphy bed that transforms this music room into a backyard retreat for guests whenever their carriage pulls up.
