The Pearl, San Francisco

From Boiler Factory to Event Space – Commercial, Remodel
We delight in upgrading old spaces for new uses, gracing modern floor plans with historic touches that unite past and present. From an 8,000 sq. ft. former boiler factory in San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood, we created a restaurant and multi-level event space with interior elevator, an open mezzanine and a 4,900 sq. ft. roof deck with panoramic city and bay views. Etchings by artist Alexis Laurent and creative re-use of the boiler factory’s retired steel cranes to gird the roof deck, house event lighting, and support an indoor garden, lending historic character to a hip SF gathering spot.
